| Implement, lead and manage cross application Automated Services Function, including but not limited to performance testing, availability monitoring, capacity planning, performance analysis and risk mitigation strategy, performance test execution systems and applications across multiple platforms, automated regression test development and execution, test tool management. Provide quality, process and technical leadership within the QA team and actively mentor, develop and instill product quality practices across the development and engineering teams Establish a strong presence as a change agent providing innovative, effective, and efficient quality practices and solutions. Develop customer feedback assessment procedures and processes that ensure high customer satisfaction. Establish best of breed quality engineering assessment tools and approaches including test automation, change management and integration with SCM. Design best in class performance and automated test architecture. Hands on responsibilities as it relates to performance testing and automation.
Strong knowledge of enterprise application architecture and technologies including web, application, database and messaging layers and the monitoring solutions used to determine availability and performance. Previous experience as a software developer with a strong understanding of software implementation approaches and quality assurance procedures. In-depth knowledge of testing/profiling/performance monitoring tools. Experience using and implementing best practice QA programs utilizing automation, load generation, modeling tools, and statistical analysis. Experience in developing Software Quality Assurance processes for large distributed development enterprise applications. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Required Technical Skills Expert level / strong understanding and / or hands on experience is required in the following categories: Operating System: Windows 2000 / 2003 server. Application Server: WebSphere 5.0 / 5.1. Database: Db2, SQL Server Platform: .NET, J2EE. Tools: Mercury suite of products specifically TestDirector, LoadRunner TestCenter and QTP.
